July Gatherings. Lucas turning 15 months old.

There's so much to share within this week, until I was too tired every night that we dozed off almost immediately after Lucas fell asleep.

The happenings began on 12th July. Zabrina and I did our first adventure together at Megazip. Climbmax was a great challenge on our strength, both mentally and physically. There was no turning back, no one to help, except for the safety harness, we were all on our own. It was REAL fun! I need to get fitter before I conquer level 3 which is the highest of all.

The day did not end there. We had steamboat later at my place with the rest of the girls. Quickly, I whipped up a pavlova, a dessert which I am very new to and served together with Raspberry, white peach and lychee popsicle. It was really refreshing and love the amazing texture of pavlova. And, they combined so well that I was craving for more..

Then on the 16th, it was a gathering for our birthday babes again. I must say, despite that we always had a hard time to come up with an agreed day and time, it always turned out to be a great one. It has to be unmentioned bond that has built over the years. Thank you and thank you very much for the first ever karaokae session after I gave birth.

And my cousin and I took turn to host dinner on subsequent days. I quickly whipped up pavlova again. This time, I served it with blackberry, raspberry and Ben and Jerry's Vanilla Ice Cream, replacing the usual whipped cream. They liked it. Me too! I love my families. It's such a pleasure to be baking something love ones and friends. I am kind of hooked.

All the catching up great fun is not ending. I am looking forward to another 3 at least. It's such lovely July.

Let me share a little bit on Lucas, which I had not done so for awhile.

He will be turning 15 months old in less than 2 weeks. Till date, he is able to address most people around him by status and he is more willing to attempt to repeat after us even though it didn't sound quite like it. He is also able to say words, mostly starting with B. Ball, Baa (Bus), Boog (Book), Bowl, Brid Bird, Bear, Bye, Bock (Blocks). And more like, nana is for banana, wawa is for flower, nite nite, and work work. I couldn't think of more. They were able to recognise and remember, not only their own but also our daily routine, the places. They start to have favorite toys, music and book. They are starting to have preferences and many more.......

At this stage, they continue to give you little surprises everyday and they are getting more and more interesting each day. They are beginning to understand what we say to them and try to respond, the toddler way. Amazing, isn't it?

Enjoying motherhood, checked.
