A day at home with nothing fascinating.

Normally, we will call in a part time helper say about every fortnightly. She was good as she was very detailed and thorough. Example, she even lifted our sofa to vacuum and mop. However, the con would be the wait- for them to complete the cleaning till we can leave the house. And because she was more detailed, she exceeded by an hour. Even Lucas was bored. I can sense because he started to move around, mingle with things a bit here and then a little there. Simply 无所事事. Likewise for mummy. I did not want to do any flash cards with him as I told myself I would only do it in the morning, and the remaining of his day should be free to play.

I took a few snaps of his day at home with Hubby's Canon EOS which was left in the dry box unattended to.
He woke up to get involve with the cleaning. Fine.

By afternoon after his lunch, he started his ransack game.

Not bearing to watch how he wasted the precious time, I took out his jumbo crayons and his sketch book.  Again, I love his concentration.

While the helper is mopping the living, we made ourselves comfortable in the room. He brought a book to flip, returned and took another one, and repeating it a few times. Then he get bored he started talking over wii controllers? Looked at himself in the mirror. He was actually putting on my hairband. We got a cranky boy in the end. Haha...

While he napped, I took a little effort to fix the rocking horse hubby bought for him from IKEA. I couldn't wait for my father or hubby. Simply too anxious to show it to Lucas. He climbed on it! But fell twice as he was trying to get out. He was holding grudges on the horse as he complained to everyone at home and guests who came later in the evening about the horse by pointing to the handle. However, he still ride on it and attempt to stand onto it, which he got scolding and the horse was kept away.

His afternoon naps was still a tough task, especially for my mother-in-law. My mum did it as she was more stern. I had it bad yesterday but it did not take too long. Today? It was a breeze. I tried not to shout at him but keep putting him back to bed at every attempt he tried calling out from bed. He cried "mouse" from a book, which I was not intending to read to him. Amazingly, I was able to memorize and recite it. He fell asleep without much fuss and within the best time record! A big progress? I pray hard!
