Overwhelmed Weekend and Temperamental Lucas.

The weekend was overwhelmed! Finally, a good friend and partner tie the know after a decade. Wishing them with many blessings! Down everything I held in my hand. Leaving me an awful feeling the next two days and a guilt. As much as I am still feeling bad, I have decided to move out of it and on.

While I am reading so much online, a bit here and there. I totally have no clue how should I go about introducing montessori from home. He was not that ready I thought. He couldn't sit there for a second, not touching anything that I want to demonstrate to him. He would then play with the toys for awhile, then start throwing them on the floor and I really meant literally! When I say no, he would throw more. When I take it away from him, he will pick up another toy and start throwing. I simply don't know how to tackle his temperament. I felt like giving up and buy a cane to standby. My patience is running low. As I was letting my thought run wild, he threw the toys again. This time, I said, "Lucas just thrown 2 red pentagons on the floor." I just described all his actions to him Upon hearing that, he stopped throwing. Huh?

Well, I have decided to put away the educational toys for awhile. Instead, we went to the kitchen for more motor skills and practical life activity. There he was, just like scooping the water, scooping sand from bowl to bowl. It's pretty messy...... But he was 100% focus!

Anyway, it was all good to keep him occupied while I prepare his porridge and hanging my laundry in the kitchen.
