CNY, the hectic continues.
Perhaps a little bit more than other years because of a turning terror 2 toddler and our stamina reduced by another year. 5 visits on the first day, 3 visits on the second day, 1 on the third day, and more events over the weekends. Lucas had his share of the goodies and stole a sip from a packet drink left on the table when no one was watching. He started to have slight cough and we heard the phlegm coming.
While I enjoyed the companies of Chinese New Year very much, but this year it got my mind tingling one night when I realised how tired I was while lying on the bed. It was nearly dawn, my eyes were shut, my body were shagged but my tired mind was not cooperating. It just keep going through again and again...
Everyday,
I breathe and breathe for potty training an unwilling toddler.
I breathe and breath for a toddler who create mess and started throwing the food during breakfast.
I breathe and breathe to shower the toddler and getting myself ready for work at the same time.
I breathe and breathe for making sure I have the porridge and water bottle to be brought to the granny house.
I breathe and breathe for making sure I have my keys, phone and thumb drive for work.
I breathe and breathe for the buzzes on the road.
I breathe and breathe as a daughter-in-law to understanding a sister-in-law more than the mother-in-law.
I breathe and breathe for work is smooth, fulfilling and satisfying.

I breathe and breathe for a hubby who is not always in Singapore and always hang out with his friends on most nights.
I breathe and breathe for simple maintenance to the house every day.
I breathe and breathe for dragging a tired body and putting an active toddler to bed.
I breathe and breathe for my time with my friends and usual hangouts.
I breathe and breathe for some time when the toddler does not cooperate.
I breathe and breathe for some time when the toddler does not cooperate.
And for my parents, I cannot better express my gratitude to them. For they breathe and breathe for me-
~ picking up the toddler without me needing to do so after work.
~ picking up the toddler without me needing to do so after work.
~ stand in for hubby when he has to go for his games.
~ giving me time to have a proper shower before I put the toddler to bed.
~ helping me to look after the toddler whenever I want to be out with my friends.
Only very recently, I am breathing more for a toddler who only wants me but anyone else. Neither the grandparents nor the father. It has to be go-to-school syndrome. For that, I breathe and breathe, hoping it's transitional and this period will pass.
After all, CNY is an occasion when all families or individuals put aside their hectic and busy schedules to get together... Thus, I am loving and continuing it.
