The Colorful 3 Days!

Last weekend was awesome! Even though, they were simple, cosy and lazy. I am feeling happy just from the thought of it. Most importantly, they would not have been so great without the beautiful people.

Be it the catching up during the wedding on Saturday night or the gathering with the favorite girls for Yen's 30th on the great weather Sunday, I am thankful for the amazing company and time spent together.

Also, to thanks my parents who help to look after my son so that I can have some time for myself and for us on Monday. We had a simple pre-Valentine's dinner prepared by the hubby- the chicken rice he had talked about for the past 9 years. Later, we drove down to Marine Bay Sands for some window shopping, then sat down for coffee and cake.

These events was made like a prep before the busiest weeks in February is going to begin. Let's embrace for more fun-loving days in March! :)

I was toying with ideas of a flower bouquet using craft stamps, which I did not manage to find time to get them. In the end, I was inspired by some cool ideas from the internet, I started to look for the shape of a flower, changed them into different colors, printed and cut them.
While I was cutting them, I was still thinking how should I present the cards. Until I saw a craft work Lucas did in school, so it shall be! :) Note the round pink and yellow papers at the bottom, they are meant for writing our wishes and sticked to the back of it.
With some left over craft papers and alphabets stickers, I made a bag for the flowers. I wanted it like a bouquet, but it looks nice like this too, isn't it? Did you notice the ribbon embossed in the center? It's from Daiso. $2 for 5 patterns. :)
Love the colors, simply.
Sex and the city themed cake with the robot face bag. Celine mini shopper that is. But we named it pinkie shopper.
The chicken rice that kept me waiting for 9 years.
Lemon Banana Meringue was their cake of the day. Love the meringue.

Hope your days are filled with pretty colors too!
