It freaks me a little.

To my amusement, my hubby does his research at kiasuparents.com for a favorable primary school for Lucas. He has all intention to move for the school. While he is looking at mostly at the east, he was shocked to find out that moving may not be the best deal. He also found out that he could use the caregiver's address in order to get a chance in balloting. He also shared with me which are the schools in the top 10 - 20. He also shared with me how some schools are so desirable.

On the other hand, I always get a little freak out upon hearing of looking for a good school or preparing children from primary 1 especially at the age of Lucas or younger or slightly older. There could be a few reasons:-

1. I do not want to move away from where I am now, at least for now, I am close to everyone I know.

2. Through current experiences, A school within walking distance or a reasonable school bus distance makes everyday less hassle.

3. Maybe I'm not academically inclined, I'm afraid Lucas will go crazy in a highly competitive school, especially in current society. Ok, I think this is totally mummy's woes.

4. Lucas is not yet 2! Why are we skipping so many levels and discussing about a primary school?!

Well, it's quite obvious that who will be queuing for ballots and registration in future.

No doubt, I am introducing learning at home, however they are more on exploring creativity and self reliance.

Well, of course, my hubby has his interest at heart. It could be good, because it maybe something I will neglect or have little knowledge of.
