Back home and his long flight experience

It's been 2 weeks since my last working day. However, I seemed busier than ever. I thought I would be spending more time engaging in some home activities with the tod. I thought I will be posting here before I left for our vacation and here I am doing it after we have reached after almost 18hours of traveling plus transiting. It's 1:16am, Friday now.

The overall flight experience was pretty pleasant. He knew he was going into an aeroplane and could not stop reciting "sit big big aeroplane, see Mickey mouse". We had been telling him that. He showed some crankiness upon landing as the lack of sleep toddler did not want to be buckled up on our first sector. He struggled so much till fell asleep. However, he suddenly opened his eyes as we were walking towards for security check for connecting flight and said, sit big aeroplane. Anyway, throughout the whole journey, he only took 2 power naps and 3 hours of sleep, including the bus journey to the airport. He woke up from his second power nap when he heard me saying that me and him decided to go back to the room when the rest were heading out for dinner. Toddler is indeed a playful age.

The real events for the journey has not really started. It's time to fight jetlag. Back home, toddler has been making up words and phrases, even sentences at the fastest rate we ever know. He has also been very hands on when we build blocks and tracks. Another milestone as he stepped into terrific 2!
