First volunteered over night stay at grandparents house

For the first time, he wanted to follow my parents home. He is usually clingy and will start to look out for me after awhile.

However, he sounded very determined today. We made it very clear to him that he will be going to stay over at his grandparents house. He replied almost immediately, "I don't want home ok? I go Popo house sleep."

So he went. No call from them yet. I deem that he should be having a good time not having to stay at home. Has he grown or what?
