Christmas Wish for Going Home Soon

We are still hoping for early discharge, even if its a day earlier than expected. It saddens to hear him crying to go home. It pains to see that he has to be poked yet we are not allowed to be there. And it really breaks the heart to hear his cries for us yet we can't do much.

The drip on his right hand was due for a change. And now they have to switch it to the left hand. He was still very happy clenching and opening his fist to feel his fingers and who knows his left was being all wrapped up again. He was sad and could see he was in deep thoughts not sure what's on his mind.

I spend some time google about the illness when he was napping. Pneumonia can be life threatening if its not well treated or there are complication during recovery. While Lucas's condition was not that bad, however his test results reflected were far away from the preferred range.

His file has been transferred back to his original PD. She then further explain to us what's shown on the x-ray. Still phlegmy, she said. It needs to be cleared. She also called in the physiotherapy to tap his back to expel the phlegm and included nebuliser to dissolve it. Ok. These procedures are normal. What we are hoping is that the phlegm could quickly go away and he can leave for home soon.
