Penning down his words.

He is growing up too fast. I need to write down whatever he said, before I forget the cutesy of every things he said.

1. Leanne was crying hysterically in the car.
Lucas: Leanne wants 抱抱!
Mummy: Leanne needs to know we cannot carry her in the car.
Lucas: but she doesn't know how to walk yet!

2. Aunty: what Christmas present do you want?
Lucas: I have many toys at home already. No need. No need.

3. On a grouchy morning.
Lucas: why you always wake me up? You huh.. Always wake me up.

4. He was sick in bed. Mummy n Leanne too. He woke up from nap to tell papa: I want to take care of Leanne and mummy.

5. Hubby made a slightly stronger brake in the car.
Lucas: papa, you need to drive carefully ok? Later taxi bang you. (Post accident trauma)

6.
I will never forget how he was holding a big shark soft toy that was bigger than him, following behind me and talking non stop to try to convince me to buy it for him. At some point, I had to tell him to keep quiet for a moment. But he did not and kept yakking.

My mum: 你很啰嗦叻。
Lucas: 我没有!
Less than 30s
Lucas: mummy, mei mei says she likes the shark.

He kept exchanging between the excited look (yes! Yes! Yes!) and pitiful look. He was hopeful as he queued with us at the cashier until I told him he had to put it down as we are not going to pay for that.

He gave understanding nods after I explained, still looking pitiful with disappointment. It pained my heart a moment, but secretly I'm glad I held back in making that purchase at that point.

He's so lovable.
