3 Days Bangkok

Hi there, I am a bit under the weather, thus decided to stay home for a bit rest. After all, past two weeks had been rush and hush, even though we had a short break over the last weekend in Bangkok. Just a little sum up on the trip. Basically, we slept as much as we could till sort of woke up "naturally" but that did not mean we had early rest. We have been walking around the same vicinity, Siam, MBK, Pratunam, and a little bit in Patpong. We had foot massage for both nights and a full body Thai massage on last day at infamous Healthland Spa but hubby and I both agreed we had our best foot massage ever at Patpong on the second night.

We only had really authentic Thai meal on our first day of arrival at Ban Khun Mae located in Siam Square. We had their signature dishes, which was raved by some food bloggers. It does worth patronising. Other days was just some street food and casual dining, still yummy.

This all time favourite Thai dessert was perhaps the BEST EVER I tried. I gave my praises for the fragrant of glutinous rice that was hot and soaked with coconut, yet not soggy. Unlike most joints where they just drizzle coconut sauce over the rice.
The hotel we stayed, Sofitel So Bangkok. Excellent service from the moment we stepped in till the day we checked out. It is a luxury and edgy boutique hotel with an infinity pool, which is smaller scale than MBS but good enough for a chillax morning. Unfortunately, it is not a great location whereby we could stop for a break and drop our shopping loots for more.

The breakfast buffet spread was stylishly displayed that makes most food looks yummy. They tasted quite good for sure.

The other purpose we were in Bangkok because it was his birthday. And very sweet of the hotel to prepare a birthday cake and gave us complimentary breakfast.

Just some shopping loots. Not much but worn us out very much. Lol...

Last but not least, we hunted for Crepe & Co on our last day to have a sweet ending to our short vacation. :)
