All about makeup removers.

My girlfriends and I have been talking about beauty lately. Age is catching up and we are on high alert in preventing our skin age even faster. I guess they would also agree much that a good skincare routine would begin with a proper cleansing. Thus, I would love to share what have I been using and starting to use for the very first step, removal of makeup.

I always love cleansing oil for removing face makeup and say no to cleansing milk because it always leave behind a sticky feeling that it felt like my face was not properly cleansed. I love how I apply cleansing oil directly onto my face instead of using a cotton pad, and melted the make up as I worked my fingers through my face. I have always been using drugstore brand and was very happy with Hada Labo Cleansing oil.

This is my 'n'th bottle. And from the picture you can see that I often use it to the last drop.
I chanced upon a review about Bioderma cleansing water and am very excited to try. So, I am going to part with cleansing oil for awhile. Initially, I was a little reluctant because this will require using of cotton pads. I gave it a try on the very day I bought it and was happy it did not leave a behind a sticky feeling like cleansing milk. Furthermore, the using of cotton pad has efficiently remove the surface layer of dead skin cells and my face felt smooth and supple to touch even before I double cleanse with facial foam.

This is $40.90 for 500ml, which I think it is fairly reasonable. :)
I never like to use face makeup remover to remove eye makeup even though it says on the bottle face and eye makeup remover. Most of the time, it will not remove waterproof mascara or will require alot of tugging at the eye areas. I have tried many drugstores brands, but almost all I would say, will leave behind trails of residue the next day I woke up from my sleep. Yea, not one who is willing to splurge on makeup removers. I am so glad I was recommended to try The Body Shop Camomile eye make up remover. It is so gentle and removes waterproof mascara efficiently without rubbing and tugging my lids. I have never woken up with anymore panda eyes after using it. Well Camomile sounds really gentle enough.

I dont think I will find any better than this at this very moment for the very dedicate eyes. I would highly recommend it!

So that it for a post in a while. Ha! Tell me if you would love to recommend me your favorite make up removers! :D
